In 2023 a new METRO Little Tokyo/Arts District Station was opened as part of the Regional Connector project in Downtown Los Angeles. Artist Audrey Chan was chosen to create public art for the station. She decided to depict the surrounding communities and determined to include Skid Row. This film delves into the backstory of how the decision to portray Skid Row in this major infrastructure project came about and spotlights the real-life people illustrated in Audrey’s art.
