Cosmology and Community: Networks of Liberation

The book is a walk through of the exhibition and the community conversations that were part of it.
Charles Porter has brought to bear the passion, knowledge, and experience that he characteristically brings to his work as a community organizer, poet, musician, and scholar of the African Diaspora. We invited muralists Dimitri Kadiev, Joshua Grace, and Ellie Sanchez, who listened to and dialogued with Charles, and used images and symbols he’d identified as important, to create a mural that references and links the five sections of Charles’ conceptual framework for the exhibition.
This book also has illustrations by Hayk Makhmuryan.
