We created a special website with information about shelter, testing, food, financial assistance and other information about how to be safe and in the time of COVID_19 for our Skid Row homeless residents. This website is updated every 2 days by Leeav Sofer, Clancey Cornell and Daniel Villa of the Skid Row Arts Alliance.

MONEY FOR OUR VULNERABLE ANGELINOS!
Garcetti just announced a relief fund for households in the City of Los Angeles (individuals or families) whose income was below the poverty line pre-COVID-19, and whose income has fallen lower since the crisis. These people can get $700-$1500 of survival money through an Angelino Card: a no-fee debit card provided gratis by the city to those in need.

COVID_19 info: update April 16:
Most people experiencing homelessness may be eligible for the Federal CARES Act’s Economic Impact Payment of up to $1,200.
Eligibility includes U.S. citizens or resident aliens who:
– Have a valid Social Security number,
– Could not be claimed as a dependent, and
– Had adjusted gross income under certain limits.

April 16: The Treasury Department opened a free “Get My Payment” mobile app. for Americans to Submit Direct Deposit Information and Track Payments. You can enter your information and your Economic Relief Payments will be send to your bank, or you’ll receive a check in the mail.
