Los Angeles Poverty Department is pleased to present “Peace N Hood” a Round Table Discussion based on Manuel Compito – aka OG Man’s “Neo-novel Coloring Book” dedicated to Stop The Violence, Keep The Peace.
The Peace N Hood Round Table features “gang specialists” Clarance Allen of Regulate, Rev. Ben Owens of Cease Fire, Jaime Rarebreed, James Farmer and Skipp Townsend. The conversation will be moderated by Manuel Compito and will focus on two questions.
1. What does it take to bring peace to our neighborhoods?
2. What are the barriers to peace in our neighborhoods?
This event is part of the current exhibition “Bridging the Divide” with paintings by Scott Taylor and Manuel Compito aka OG Man at the Skid Row History Museum and Archive (until March 23).
