CONVERSATION: ‘THE BIG PICTURE’

Art and Communities in Romania and Armenia brings together the experiences of Andreea Lăcătuș, film director and cultural producer based in Bucharest, Romania, and Hayk Makhmuryan, Armenian art worker and community organizer based in Los Angeles, (unceded Tongva Land), in a dialogue about contexts, practices and models.

Come learn about other peoples and places — and the obstacles and opportunities for making art and making community. Andreea Lacatus is CEC Artlink Artist Fellow in residence with LA Poverty Department. Hayk Makhmuryan is beloved here in Skid Row — this is an opportunity to learn more about the man himself.
