Gunnin’ for the #1 Spot” – directed by Adam Yauch   |   Running time: 90 minutes.
After the screening, there will be a discussion with Coach Ron and OG, founding members of the Skid Row 3on3 Streetball League.

Shot in 2006 by one of the founding members of Beastie Boys, the documentary follows eight of the top high-school basketball players in the US at the time. The plot centers around the first annual Boost Mobile Elite 24 Hoops Classic at the legendary Rucker Park in Harlem.

Free movie screenings, free popcorn, free coffee & free conversation. Every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month, we screen movies about issues that are important to our Skid Row and downtown community at the #skidrowmuseum.
